I have an Acer Aspire 7720G with a Crystal Eye.

My question: How can I use this camera for recording.

My camera is working because I use it for skype.

But how to use this camera seperate. (which button, which icon????)

Alright. For everyone whose webcam just stopped working, coming up with a notice that said "Acer Crystal Eye Webcam has stopped
working" every time they click on the shortcut...

Mine did the same thing and I couldn't figure out why. It worked for about a month after I got it, and then it just stopped
functioning.

Someone told me to move all of my pictures and photos out of the original "picture" file. I made a new folder on my desktop for my
pictures, moved all of them so the original file was empty, and boom. The webcam worked. I'm not saying this is necessarily going
to work for everyone, since it might not be the issue you're having, but it's worth a shot because it worked for me.

Great Picture. But when I add other web cams it changes the settings for the Acer program. And when I reinstalled Acer the
pictures came out upside down. But other than that it gives a good picture.

i have this acer aspire 4310 with built-in crystal eye webcam (same with esmer's-- the person below my comment)...and ever since
it was bought, i can't use the webcam. I already installed the software for many times and whenever i tried to open it, it kept on
saying " acer crystal eye webcam application has stopped working"
please help me....='(

i bought my acer aspire 4315 laptop with built-in crystal eye webcam last december 2007,i used only for one month then after that
if i open the webcam it is webca not connected until now,how can i install it again properly my crystal eye webcam.im hoping for

I meant to add when working the camera is superb, good colour reproduction and very wide angle.

I purchased an Acer notebook in January 2008. 7 weeks later the Crystal Eye Camera stopped working. I emailed Acer and they
told me to download the drivers from their site. I did this but the camera still would not work. I emailed for more help and,
wrote to their CEO but they have ignored these requests. I then found the Suyin site and downloaded the drivers from there. The
camera worked for one day then stopped working again.. I there anywhere on the Suyin site where I can download the software for
this camera. Acer refused to send a disc with this on.
